Can I use the soulcube to kill the archviles in Delta Service Tunnel 1?

  • 1 of 4: If it's charged up.
  • 2 of 4: If not, you could try dodging the archviles and killing the creatures they summon in order to power up the soulcube, but unfortunately these archviles summon zombie commandos instead of imps.
  • 3 of 4: It's probably best to hit the archviles with your chaingun and/or plasma gun until they die from that. (Though if you enter the room with a charged soulcube, you might as well use it on the first archvile you see.)
  • 4 of 4: ALTERNATIVE: Actually, if you're fast, you can use the chainsaw to saw up the archviles and their summoned zombies without taking much damage. It's really amazing how well this technique can work -- try it again in the Delta Main Lobby when you get there.
