DOOM 3 Hints

I've found Counselor Swann. Now how do I make it to the CPU Complex?

  • 1 of 9: He said you could use his PDA to gain access.
  • 2 of 9: And sure enough, picking it up will upgrade your security clearance to "CPU Complex."
  • 3 of 9: But now you have to find a door with a working security panel to use your new clearance with.
  • 4 of 9: There's nothing in the areas you've been to, so try that unlocked door in the Delta Authority Lobby (where you found Swann).
  • 5 of 9: The hallway past it is blocked by hellish slime growths, but there's another handy crawlway hole in the floor you can use.
  • 6 of 9: After using a short ladder to move up to a slightly higher crawlway, you'll come to a ladder that you can extend downwards with a nearby panel.
  • 7 of 9: Climb down into the Delta Main Lobby, but only after saving your game and preparing for two more zombie-commando-summoning archviles to appear.
  • 8 of 9: After that's done, find the door that Swann's clearance opens and go through it to quickly get to the transfer bay that can take you to Central Processing.
  • 9 of 9: EXTRA: Near the bay door is an information terminal that's been taken over by the demons. You can download info from it on opening sacrificial portals. (Useless, but funny!)
