Soulcube

  • Damage: 1000 per hit
    First Found: Hell

    Did I say the BFG is the most powerful weapon ever? Perhaps I spoke too hastily. This new "soulcube" weapon is certainly a contender for that title. You can't use it at all until you've charged it up by killing five creatures (of any kind) with other weapons. You'll know when you have because the soulcube will say "use us" and a little flashing soulcube icon will appear to the left of your ammo readout near the bottom right corner of the screen.

    When the soulcube is usable, it's really awesome! Fire it at a powerful enemy to instantly kill that enemy and transfer its health to you. It works great on the most powerful non-bosses such as the archviles, hellknights, and mancubi.

    NOTE: The soulcube returns as soon as it kills something, so if you're aiming at one monster in a crowd, be careful that another one doesn't get in the way.
