I'm in Heavy Transfer Lift 1. How do I get the service lift going?

  • 1 of 8: If you peer carefully down into the long lift shaft, you should spot a small utility ladder over on the right side.
  • 2 of 8: But it only takes you down to a crawlway with some armor and ammo.
  • 3 of 8: On a pillar to the left of the huge shaft is a panel with a "Call Lift" button, but it won't do anything yet.
  • 4 of 8: Go into the corner to the left of that panel to find another one that lowers a maintenance ladder.
  • 5 of 8: On the ledge at the top of the ladder, make a running jump over to the yellow metal structure.
  • 6 of 8: You can now enter Heavy Lift Control through a window.
  • 7 of 8: Right near the window is a hard-to-read control panel that you can click on to enable lift access.
  • 8 of 8: Now you can go back through the window and drop down to where you found the "Call Lift" button and use it to bring the lift up. (Or, better yet, use the door in Heavy Lift Control to get to the same place while picking up lots of spare ammo.)
