How can I survive the descent in the Thermal Regulation Pump area?

  • 1 of 8: After climbing down several ladders, you'll come to a small platform with a hole that has a long drop beneath it.
  • 2 of 8: You need to drop down a bit at a time using the moving platforms beneath this one.
  • 3 of 8: The easiest way to drop down onto the first moving platform is to jump over the railing on the side that the platform extends from.
  • 4 of 8: Drop down onto the first moving platform the instant it starts extending. When you land, quickly drop down to the second platform, then the third, and then the fourth.
  • 5 of 8: TIP: Always look to the left to find the next platform. It'll start extending the instant the one you're on starts retracting.
  • 6 of 8: If you're still on a platform when it retracts into the wall, you won't fall if you press yourself against the wall and are not in the center of the platform.
  • 7 of 8: When you get to the fourth platform, quickly drop from it onto a safe piece of walkway beneath.
  • 8 of 8: Then climb down the ladder in the middle of the fan-like thing to reach the bottom floor.
