DOOM 3 Hints
This is it! Final level! How do I get to the big end-game battle?
1 of 7: Start by picking up the ton of ammo in the room you start in. It's full of great stuff! (Note that there are health packs on the scaffolding in the back if you need them.)
2 of 7: If you still need BFG ammo (remember, you can have up to 32 charges total), head right after leaving the starting room and hop over some rubble to find a BFG cell.
3 of 7: Proceed along the only path available until you get to the Chamber of the Hero.
4 of 7: Get the ammo backpack in the very back of the room, then proceed onwards through the hole in the wall that opens up.
5 of 7: Further along, a hell-evator will take you down to an area that will no doubt remind you strongly of the Hell level you went through a little while ago.
6 of 7: Keep going along the path until you reach the wall that opens up and admits you to the hellgate area, where the vast and mighty cyberdemon is waiting to kick you around.
7 of 7: SECRET: Just before the spot where you trigger the cut scene and final battle, there's a small alcove that has a special brick in it with the id Software logo carved on it. Crawl over to the brick and use it like you would a computer panel to get a nearby wall to rise, allowing you to enter a secret room with a special PDA from id Software which contains a bunch of "thank you"-type e-mails from the various members of the id team.
