  • Health: 130
    Attack Damage: 8 from claw and leap attack, 12 from fireball, and up to 5 from fireball splash damage

    As in the classic DOOM, it's a big mistake to underestimate imps. Yeah, it's real funny to call them "wimps" because it rhymes and all, but these things are fast and numerous. Imps often materialize after you do something to trigger their appearance (pick up an item, cross a room, open a door, etc.). Their materialization sequence takes a couple of seconds, so listen for its sound effects.

    A point-blank head shot from the shotgun will instantly kill an imp, though the preferred method for dealing with them is using a machine gun or plasma gun at a distance (esp. since you can also shoot down their fireballs or strafe to dodge them).
