How can I survive the big trite attack in Lower MFS Control?
1 of 8: Be ready for them to start swarming you as soon as you use a control panel that raises a service ladder.
2 of 8: Have your machine gun ready and back into the nearby corner with the armor and health station.
3 of 8: Quickly shoot all the trites as soon as they appear.
4 of 8: The ladder will get stuck briefly, so keep shooting the trites until it fully rises.
5 of 8: As soon as it does, quickly get some health from the health station if you need it, then run up the ladder to get away from the trites on the lower floor. (They can't climb ladders, but if you linger near the ladder or the railing, they can jump at you and explode painfully.)
6 of 8: More trites start crawling in through a damaged door as soon as you reach the upper floor, so run for the airlock and click on the green panel to the right of it to open its door.
7 of 8: Fortunately, the trites can't follow you into the airlock, and won't jump at you and explode, either. Once you're in there, you're safe.
8 of 8: You could have some fun shooting the helpless trites, but it's better to save your ammo and just hit the panel that takes you to Alpha Labs Sector 3.
