Why can't I enter Hazardous Waste Disposal?
1 of 12: There are hazardous wastes currently occupying the area. You need to dispose of them first.
2 of 12: A short way back along the way you came is a door leading to the area's control room.
3 of 12: In the control room is a control panel. Study it.
4 of 12: Using the panel, you can operate the crane in the Hazardous Waste Disposal room.
5 of 12: You see those two barrels in there that are leaking toxic green steam? They're the source of the problem.
6 of 12: Also notice the incinerator in the back corner of the room. It's the destination of the problem.
7 of 12: Use the control panel to get the crane to pick up the two leaky barrels one at a time and drop them into the incinerator.
8 of 12: To start with, use the four-direction lateral control panel to move the crane directly over a barrel. You'll know when it's in place because you'll hear a quick double-beep and a smaller panel to the right of the control panel will display the work "LOCK."
9 of 12: Once the crane is in position over a barrel, use the up/down control to lower the crane as far as it'll go, then click on "close." (Note that if the crane tilts at an angle when lowered, it can't pick up the item. Raise it up a bit and adjust its position slightly.)
10 of 12: When the crane has firmly latched onto the barrel, press "transfer item to incinerator" to dispose of it.
11 of 12: After you do that with both leaky barrels, you'll be able to go back to the door to Hazardous Waste Disposal and get in this time.
12 of 12: EXTRA FUN: You can optionally dispose of the non-leaky barrels the same way, and can even use the crane to trash the dead body on the floor!
