Day of the Tentacle Hints
How can I get a fire going in the convention room?
of 12: If you talk to Thomas Jefferson, you should know that he won't give up his log just on Hancock's opinion. Listen to what he says, and you'll find that there's a better judge of the temperature.
of 12: From someone who spent a long time in a cold place.
of 12: George Washington needs to be cold, or at least look cold.
of 12: Chattering teeth are usually a sign of being cold.
of 12: And Bernard can get a set from his time. (See the appropriate hints if you don't know how to get them.)
of 12: Now all you need to do is convince George to give up the teeth he has.
of 12: Notice what he does with his teeth every so often.
of 12: He takes them and his cigar out of his mouth together.
of 12: Haven't you seen a prank with cigars yet?
of 12: The novelty salesman will give you a cigar if you do the right thing. See the hints in Bernard's time for more details.
of 12: Then just give George Washington a cigar. Don't forget to give Hoagie the cigarette lighter gun so he can light the exploding cigar.
of 12: All you have to do now is hand George the chattering teeth when he loses his real ones, and Thomas Jefferson will start a fire.
