How do I open the writing desk?

  • 1 of 10: Before going to the desk, look around the rest of the library.
  • 2 of 10: The ladder on the other side of the room is important.
  • 3 of 10: Looking closer at the ladder dislodges a letter.
  • 4 of 10: Now that you're at the top of the ladder, you should see a crank.
  • 5 of 10: Turn the crank to move the ladder.
  • 6 of 10: There is something interesting on the wall behind the books.
  • 7 of 10: It appears to be a light of some kind.
  • 8 of 10: Now that the light is on, go to the desk.
  • 9 of 10: Examine the desk for a special type of switch.
  • 10 of 10: Spin the round object, which is near the center of the desk.
