What should I do with the laboratory equipment?
1 of 15: First off, you are going to need to find the two clues to this puzzle that are in the room.
2 of 15: You will find one by speaking with the Duchess Orlowski.
3 of 15: She is humming a melody. Ask her about it.
4 of 15: Van Helsing will note down the musical notes she was singing. They are very important.
5 of 15: The second clue can be found near the locked door to the library.
6 of 15: Look at the painting of the piano keyboard.
7 of 15: Van Helsing sees chemical formulae on it, and also notes them down in the notebook.
8 of 15: Now, we have a melody of musical notes, colored test-tubes with various chemicals in, and a list of chemicals linked to individual musical notes from the painting on the wall.
9 of 15: All we need to do is find out which chemicals are in which test tubes.
10 of 15: There is a good just to the right of the lab equipment which gives you this information.
11 of 15: You then need to simply grab a piece of paper from the right-hand side of the lab and dip it in the chemicals in the order of the melody that the Duchess sang.
12 of 15: She sang: low C, G, D#, F, D, A#, high C.
13 of 15: The chemicals that match these are, in the correct order:
14 of 15: Yellow, blue, green, black, red, orange, and white.
