How do I get across the red barrier?
1 of 11: First, you should probably concentrate on getting inside the castle itself. The only entrance available to you now is up a flight of stairs.
2 of 11: Thanks to Dorko, you now have the power to get inside.
3 of 11: Remember that Dracula has placed hidden pentagrams around his castle.
4 of 11: One of them might even be on the handle of the door.
5 of 11: Use the spectacles on the handle to reveal the pentagram.
6 of 11: And then use Dorko's ring on the pentagram to unlock the door. (Dorko's ring is the one shown on the left side of your inventory -- not Mina's ring on the top.)
7 of 11: Inside, you'll find a rope and hook.
8 of 11: That might help you here.
9 of 11: Maybe you could send the hook over the barrier.
10 of 11: Use the rope and hook on your crossbow and go outside, but stay on the landing at the top of the stairs.
11 of 11: You can shoot the rope at the wall/landing on the other side of the barrier and then climb the rope to get over to the other side of the barrier.
