Dracula: The Last Sanctuary Hints
How can I get through the stone arch at the bottom of some steps?
of 11: From the top of the stairs, you have two options -- click on one of the nearby steps to land on a particular one, or click on the bottom of the steps to go down them all at once automatically.
of 11: If you go down to the bottom, turn around and look closely at the steps.
of 11: Each one has some sort of symbol written on its edge.
of 11: Maybe you've seen these symbols elsewhere?
of 11: They were mentioned in the green notebook, which you found in Seward's safe.
of 11: Notice that 6 of those symbols are drawn into the notebook.
of 11: You should go back up to the top of the staircase and step on only the steps shown in the book. If you don't want to be bothered writing down the symbols and matching them to what's in the book, read ahead to figure out where to step.
of 11: From the top, land on steps 1, 3, 6, 7, 9, and 10.
of 11: If you're having trouble counting steps, I found that the easiest thing to do was to look straight down. The step that you're on is the first one where you can't see any sort of symbol on the edge. You can then count forward from there. Or once you get near the end, you can count backwards from the 10th step.
of 11: Also, make sure to click on the front edge of the step, or else you may land one off from where you think you should be.
of 11: Once you've entered the correct pattern, you should hear a click to indicate the arch is no longer trapped. If you don't, go back and try again.
