How do I kill the monster that's just outside the storage room?

  • 1 of 13: Well, your gun isn't going to harm it.  You could try it, but you'd just be wasting valuable time.
  • 2 of 13: When you first see the monster, I'd concentrate on finding a safe place to hide.
  • 3 of 13: Try going through the door that's behind Pibody's corpse.
  • 4 of 13: Once you're through that door, you need to find a way to keep the monster from following you.
  • 5 of 13: Now, you should be free to find a way to kill the monster.
  • 6 of 13: It's in Dracula's mansion, so maybe it's vulnerable to the same things that Dracula is.
  • 7 of 13: Like sunlight.
  • 8 of 13: Notice that the window near the fireplace is boarded up.
  • 9 of 13: If you got close enough, you could remove those boards.
  • 10 of 13: But you still need a way to get that light at the monster.
  • 11 of 13: A mirror might do the trick.
  • 12 of 13: Pick up a mirror from near the door, and put it in front of the fireplace.  Light will now be shining toward the door.
  • 13 of 13: It's safe to open the door -- the monster will be killed when you do.
