Where did everybody go?
1 of 5: Go into Seward's office and look on his desk.
2 of 5: There's a wax cylinder recorder on the left side of his desk.
3 of 5: Play it, and you will hear what happened -- Dracula kidnapped Mina.
4 of 5: You should work on solving other puzzles here, and you will find your way out of the Asylum eventually.
5 of 5: In particular, head down into the main part of asylum, through the door that's just to your right as you're facing the front door.
