How can I get past the vampire in the storeroom?
1 of 8: You need some kind of protection against vampires.
2 of 8: And your cross isn't good enough -- wait until you find an item that Jonathan specifically says will protect you.
3 of 8: Have you found the safe in Seward's office and opened it?
4 of 8: You will find the Dragon Ring in the safe. Once you have it in your inventory, you can walk into the storeroom safely. But you still need to do something to get the vampire out of your way.
5 of 8: Start by using another anti-vampire item.
6 of 8: Use the cross on the vampire, and he'll be forced back into the chair.
7 of 8: But his moaning is awfully annoying. You might want to knock him out.
8 of 8: Use the cross on his forehead to keep him quiet for a while.
