Dracula: The Last Sanctuary Hints
How do I get out of the sewers this time?
1 of 9: Notice the really deep but really empty pit in front of you.
2 of 9: It might be safer to dive in if you filled the pit first.
3 of 9: There's a wheel on one of the walls in here -- turn it, and the pool will be partially filled.
4 of 9: You can now jump in the pool and swim around. The movement arrows are available in a relatively small portion of each screen -- if it looks like you can't swim somewhere but you think you should be able to, you're probably just not looking in the right place.
5 of 9: You can also swim underwater -- I found it easiest to dive while at the far end of the pool from the door. But be warned that once you go underwater, you need to surface for air before the red bar runs out, or you'll die. And since the hotspots for the up arrows are also fairly small, it's easier to die than you might think.
6 of 9: Once you're underwater, look on the bottom for some crates that you can move.
7 of 9: When you move these, you'll reveal another wheel. Turn it.
8 of 9: The pit now fills up to the very top, and you can swim through an opening that was above water level before. You might want to surface for air before you do that, though. As you're facing the wheel, turn 90 degrees to the right and look straight up. There don't seem to be any other hotspots around here.
9 of 9: Once you've gone through that opening, surface and climb out of the water. A ladder into the asylum is nearby.
