How do I get past the rats in the sewer?
1 of 9: The note that Seward left in his library had two sides to it. Go into your inventory, select the close-up of the note, and look for the cursor to turn the note over.
2 of 9: The front side has the note itself, and the back side has a drawing explaining how to use the antenna.
3 of 9: You need to start by turning the crank on the side of the box to power it up.
4 of 9: Once you've done that, the basic idea is that the box can listen to something to figure out its "frequency" and can then be made to play back a sound to destroy that same thing.
5 of 9: So go to the close-up of the box in your inventory and press the left of the two buttons, which shows sound coming at the box.
6 of 9: You can now use the antenna on the rats to listen to them.
7 of 9: Then go back into your inventory and take another look at the box. The dial on the left has moved.
8 of 9: This dial shows the "frequency" of the rats, which is 7.
9 of 9: So tune the dial on the right to the same number (using the knob just below the dial), and press the right ("transmit") button. You can now click the antenna icon on the rats to get rid of them.
