How can I sterilize the instruments?

  • 1 of 12: That's usually done by boiling them in water, so go to the kitchen.
  • 2 of 12: Look on top of the stove to the right of the sink to find a pot that you can pick up.
  • 3 of 12: Fill it with water by clicking the pot-carrying cursor on the sink (not the faucet).
  • 4 of 12: Right-click to place the pot on the stove to get the water to start heating.
  • 5 of 12: Go to inventory and hit the Auto button on the transit area to get the tray of instruments and a couple of other items put into inventory, then click on the tray to pick it up.
  • 6 of 12: Right-click to close the inventory view while still holding onto the tray, then click on the top of the pot to place the tray in it.
  • 7 of 12: Father Arno notices that the fire isn't hot enough to boil the water, so you'll have to stoke it a bit.
  • 8 of 12: Click on the stove door that's below the pot to open it.
  • 9 of 12: Find some wood that you can put in there to make the fire bigger.
  • 10 of 12: Look on the floor to the left of the sink and cabinet to find some firewood in a basket.
  • 11 of 12: Click on the top of the basket to pick up a piece of firewood, then click it on the fire in the stove to place it.
  • 12 of 12: That'll heat the water up to boiling, and the instruments will be sterilized. The nearby window will even steam over!
