Dracula 3: The Path of the Dragon Hints
How can I figure out the two missing numbers?
of 8: Since the only clue you have is the other numbers, there must be some sort of pattern with them.
of 8: They start out with 1 and 3, but the pattern can't be odd numbers, since 8 is an even number.
of 8: Have you ever heard of the Fibonacci sequence?
of 8: That's when you start with the numbers 1 and 2, and always calculate the next number by adding the last two you already have.
of 8: So the sequence goes 1, 2, 1+2 (3), 2+3 (5), 3+5 (8), and so on.
of 8: The four numbers you got from the stelae are all in that sequence, so figure out which two are missing.
of 8: If you take the Fibonacci sequence all the way to 13 (your biggest number), you'll get 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, and 13. That's six numbers!
of 8: So it turns out you were missing the 2 and the 5.
