Dracula 3: The Path of the Dragon Hints
How can I get out of this maze?
of 9: Notice the Roman numerals above each gate.
of 9: You need to use those to figure out which way to go from any room that has more than one open gate.
of 9: In the first room, there's only one open gate. Its number is MDXCVII, which is 1597.
of 9: Go through that gate to reach a room with two open gates.
of 9: Their numbers are 987 and 130. You're clearly going along in some descending number sequence.
of 9: In the second room, it makes more sense to go through the 987 gate (CMLXXXVII), since it's unlikely that the number sequence would drop from 1597 straight to 130.
of 9: In the third room, there will be three open gates. Their numbers are 610, 975, and 753.
of 9: It's a bit trickier to guess which gate you want this time, though you could save your game and try one, then restore and try another if it doesn't work out.
of 9: Or you could figure out how the numerical sequence works. Or you could just read the answer and use it.
