Dracula 3: The Path of the Dragon Hints
How am I supposed to escape the trap room without finishing the game?
1 of 15: Look around to find the bar-covered exit door. Maybe you can get it open without finishing the game.
2 of 15: Click to go over to the door, then look around for interactive spots.
3 of 15: Look just to the left of the middle of the door to find a small closed panel.
4 of 15: You'll need a tool to open it, so look through your inventory.
5 of 15: You still have the monkey wrench you got from the gravedigger, so try it on the panel door.
6 of 15: That'll open it, exposing two ends of steel cable screwed into a metal connector gadget.
7 of 15: Put the wrench away, then see if you have anything that can be used to unscrew the connector.
8 of 15: For lack of something more lever-like, use the knife. (It might seem like the game should let you use the wrench or the hammer, but it won't.)
9 of 15: Use the knife on the connector to place it, then click and hold while moving your mouse to the left.
10 of 15: Keep doing that until the knife can't go any farther, then release the mouse button.
11 of 15: Click to take the knife, then use it in the connector again to get it set up for another turn.
12 of 15: Keep twisting the connector to the left with the knife, picking it up and replacing it when necessary, until the connector falls loose.
13 of 15: That won't open the door, but it will disable the spikes on Janos' side of the trap.
14 of 15: Now repeat the earlier "save, press serpent button, restore if lose" process until you finish winning the game.
15 of 15: Return to the door and use the knob on its right side to escape the trap room.
