Dracula 3: The Path of the Dragon Hints
Second Step
of 11: The name of the second step's mountain peak is "Peak of Sacrifice."
of 11: Look through your documents for anything sacrifice-related.
of 11: You got an "Ox sacrifice (sketch)" document from Stephan Luca, who said it was related to the second step of the path. You also got an "Ox sacrifice (sarc.)" document from Fox Peak's sarcophagus.
of 11: Both pictures show someone sacrificing an ox, but you haven't killed one single person or animal in the entire game.
of 11: Maybe finding someone who was killed would be enough.
of 11: Remember that you were the first to find Stephan Luca dead on day 4.
of 11: That ties in with the two vague clues of the leaves shown on the left side of the drawings (Luca was killed next to an oak tree painting) and the fact that the second step's symbol is the upside-down crucifix (there's the outline of such a thing on the wall of Luca's room).
of 11: What souvenir do you have of that murder?
of 11: You had to use Luca's medallion to open his trunk in the attic, but you kept the chain that the medallion was on.
of 11: So the small chain item that you still have in inventory must be the related item.
of 11: NOTE: A completely different way to arrive at the same conclusion is to notice that you have two more sacrifice-related documents: "Iphigeneia's Sacrifice (V. B.)" and "Iphigeneia's Sacrifice (Br. M.)." If you carefully examine both sacrifice pictures with the magnifying glass, you'll see that the woman is wearing a necklace in one of them, but not in the other one.
