Dracula 3: The Path of the Dragon Hints

Step-by-Step Path Puzzle Solution

  • 1 of 17: Go up to one pillar after another in the ballroom until you find the one that has the little bottle in the mouth of its lower carved head.
  • 2 of 17: Leave the bottle alone, and click on the drawing board that's between the two carved heads to get a close-up of it.
  • 3 of 17: You're going to need to draw the sideways hourglass symbol on the drawing board, just like how you drew the pentagram symbol on a similar drawing board in the temple at Fox Peak.
  • 4 of 17: This symbol, like the pentagram, can be drawn continuously without releasing the mouse button. See below for a sketch of approximately how you should draw the symbol.
  • 5 of 17: When you get it close enough, a glowing sideways hourglass symbol will appear in the middle of the drawing board. (Note that you couldn't have gotten away with drawing it that small.)
  • 6 of 17: Since the second step's peak is left of (counterclockwise from) the first step's peak on the map, turn left from facing the pillar you're at to find the next one.
  • 7 of 17: Go over to it and use the small chain on the lower carved head's mouth to place it.
  • 8 of 17: Click on the drawing board above that head and sketch out an upside-down crucifix on it.
  • 9 of 17: You don't have to try to do this symbol without unclicking. What you need to do is draw the vertical line, then release the mouse button and quickly start drawing the horizontal line before the board resets.
  • 10 of 17: Turn left and go forward to the next pillar, then put any bird feather you happen to have in the mouth of its lower carved head.
  • 11 of 17: On the drawing board above that head, you need to trace out a pentagram shape.
  • 12 of 17: Turn left and go to the next pillar. Put the syringe in the lower carved head's mouth, then trace out the swastika-like symbol on the drawing board.
  • 13 of 17: This is another symbol where you have to draw one part, then release the mouse button and quickly start drawing the other part before the board resets.
  • 14 of 17: At the next pillar to the left, use Janos' lighter to light the torch in the upper carved head's mouth, then draw the ladder symbol on the drawing board.
  • 15 of 17: There are six lines to draw separately, so move fast between lines.
  • 16 of 17: At the next pillar to the left, put the old coin in the lower carved head's mouth and trace out the Greek letter pi (with an extended right "leg") on the drawing board.
  • 17 of 17: At the final pillar, put the hand mirror from the well in the lower carved head's mouth, then sketch out the trident symbol on the drawing board.
