Dragon Lore Hints

What are the different paths in this game?

  • There are basically two ways to go through the game: through violence or through puzzles.  In the violent way, you basically kill everything that might stand in your path.  Some knights like violence -- some don't.  The ones that DO like violence will vote for you at the end of the game.  The ones who don't will not vote for you.  The whole first part of the game relies on getting votes for yourself later on.

    Basically, some knights won't vote for you no matter how you play the game.  Diakonov is one.  The others will vote for you if you do them a favor.  For instance, if you find a crystal for the knight outside of the Knight's Tomb, you have his vote.  Also, if you find the ring of a deceased Dragon Knight, you get that person's vote.  If you have enough votes at the end of the game, you become a Dragon Knight.

    This file assumes that you're taking the path of Wisdom.  If you want to take violence, here's what to do: whenever you encounter a creature guarding your path, instead of giving it something, kill it.  Also, kill any knights that say that they prefer brains over brawn.  If they're dead, then they can't vote, and that's one less vote against you.
