How do I open the grate outside?

  • 1 of 10: Look at that mechanism next to it.
  • 2 of 10: That might have something to do with the grate.
  • 3 of 10: In fact, it does.  It's missing a part, though.
  • 4 of 10: You should have an item that will complete it.
  • 5 of 10: Put the cog between the right gears.
  • 6 of 10: With that part solved, now you need to find a way to keep the door open.
  • 7 of 10: The switch will open the door.
  • 8 of 10: Something weighty will keep it down.
  • 9 of 10: Put the water pail (with water) on the switch.
  • 10 of 10: Now, go in and get the silver chest.
