Specialization Unlocking Trick
1 of 4: Whenever a merchant sells a specialization manual, you can get it for free by using this trick.
2 of 4: After quicksaving, sell enough stuff to the merchant so you can afford to buy a specialization manual. It's okay to sell off expensive gear that you want to keep since you'll be getting it back soon.
3 of 4: Buy the specialization manual and exit the merchant screen to get it to take effect, then restore your quicksave. The specialization you just unlocked will still be unlocked, and you'll have all of your sold-off equipment back.
4 of 4: NOTE: Instead of selling equipment, you can use the PC Cheat Codes (see the main Dragon Age: Origins UHS hint file) to give yourself enough money to buy the specialization manual. It's technically not cheating if you save before you use the code, and restore that save afterward.
