Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening Hints
How far can I go on each main plot quest without committing to finishing it?
1 of 3: On the "Last of the Legion" quest, do everything up to entering the Lower Reaches. (You could enter that area and do everything except crush the broodmothers, but you'll probably want to put off fighting the Lost and his inferno golem for as long as possible.)
2 of 3: On the "The Righteous Path" quest, do everything up through entering the Silverite Mine area and reading the scroll that's on the wooden walkway. Moving onto the floor past the walkway will get you trapped into finishing the quest.
3 of 3: On the "Shadows of the Blackmarsh" quest, do everything up to where you find Kristoff's body. Examining it will get you taken to the Fade and trapped into finishing the quest.
