1 of 3: Return to the keep and talk to Voldrik about the granite.
2 of 3: Promise him some guards, and he'll get started on the upgrades.
3 of 3: BUG NOTE: If you say that he can't have any soldiers, you'll get XP, after which you can talk to him and repeat the process to get more XP. Keep that for awhile to get lots of easy glitch XP.
