Kal'Hirol - Main Hall

  • 1 of 7: Have everyone hold position where you enter, then send one character to open the door at the end of the tunnel and lure in darkspawn and stone golems.
  • 2 of 7: The golem master and his archers may stubbornly refuse to be lured in, so hit them with ranged attacks from the doorway, retreating to heal when necessary.
  • 3 of 7: Loot the golem master to get a golem control rod and two flawless rubies, then kill off the darkspawn on the lower floor to the west. (Watch out for the many traps down there. Try to avoid them during the combat so your rogue can disarm them for XP afterwards.)
  • 4 of 7: Go east through one of the upper floor's doorways. When you find an inert golem in a wall niche, activate him to get him to stomp into the large antechamber ahead and start attacking its darkspawn.
  • 5 of 7: Get your rogue to disarm the traps on the floor past the stairs, then help your golem out. (Note that he'll return to his wall niche if he survives, but you can't use him again for anything.)
  • 6 of 7: Check the north and south ends of the antechamber for a chest and lootable scrolls, then go east from it to reach the commons area. Ignore all the "historic replay" spirits and look for a way to get to the commons' east side.
  • 7 of 7: The doors to the Trade Quarter are past the stairs on the commons' east side.
