Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening Hints
Which one should I choose to save?
1 of 4: That mainly depends on how many keep-improving optional quests you finished in Part 2.
2 of 4: If you did the quests to fortify the keep walls, improve the keep soldiers' armor, and prevent darkspawn from coming in through the basement, the keep will be in good shape. Much better shape than Amaranthine, anyway.
3 of 4: You should probably choose to save the keep if it's well fortified. Otherwise, it's a toss-up as to which is better to save, and you can choose either way. (Note that the combats in Amaranthine will be easier even than the ones in a well-fortified keep.)
4 of 4: NOTE: Whichever way you choose, you're likely to have at least one companion who will protest. Use the persuade options that come up to minimize your approval loss with those companion(s).
