1 of 6: To get this quest, you have to obtain two items.
2 of 6: One of them is the "Friends of Red Jenny" letter that you can get on the quest-related Random Encounter where you meet Zevran.
3 of 6: The other item is the small painted box that you can get from First Enchanter Irving's desk while doing the Mage Treaty Quests.
4 of 6: Read the letter (entry #315 in the quest-related section of your codex) to find out what to do next.
5 of 6: The next time you're in Denerim, go to the west end of the Market District's southern alley to find a mysterious door.
6 of 6: Use it and present the small painted box to get 3 gold coins.
