Unintended Consequences

  • 1 of 7: This quest will be on the Redcliffe Village's chanter's board after you do enough Redcliffe Treaty Quests to save the village from the undead, plus do the "Summoning Sciences" optional quest during the Mage Treaty Quests.
  • 2 of 7: After you get the quest, travel around on the world map until you have an encounter at a roadside stop area.
  • 3 of 7: Harvest the two deathroot plants as you make your way over to Trickster Whim.
  • 4 of 7: When you get close to him, he and two lesser tricksters will attack you.
  • 5 of 7: Kill the two lesser tricksters, then focus everyone's attacks on the main trickster.
  • 6 of 7: After he's down, loot the three bloody corpses near the wagons.
  • 7 of 7: Go talk to the chanter next to the job board in either Denerim or Redcliffe Village to finish up.
