Howe Treachery
1 of 10: NOTE: This entire quest is all stuck in under the one objective of "Find your family before it's too late," so these hints won't have an objective list.
2 of 10: As soon as the cut-scene is over, bring up the inventory screen and equip yourself for battle.
3 of 10: Kill the Howe soldier who runs into your room, then lure the archer in and kill him. Loot them and your chest while your health regenerates, then leave your room and turn south to find two more Howe soldiers to fight.
4 of 10: After you finish them off, your mother will join you. Raid the locked chest in her room if you can, and get all the gear out of the trunk. Equip the longbow on your mother so she can offer ranged support in the fights ahead.
5 of 10: Open the north door and hang back to lure Howe men to you a few at a time, then check the small east and west side rooms for locked chests before continuing north.
6 of 10: After your mother talks to you about an escape plan, loot the knight corpse in the room to the west, then go east until a servant runs up and says the castle has fallen. Try to persuade him to stay and fight, then back up a bit and wait for several Howe soldiers to come to you.
7 of 10: The main hall is your next goal, but there are several things you should do before you enter it and join in its huge battle.
8 of 10: Leave the main hall through its north door, then pound the Howe soldiers you see fighting a guard ahead. After they're down, check the servants' room to the north for a crate to loot, and the room down the hall to the east for some soldiers to fight.
9 of 10: Go back south and around to the hallway that leads to the kitchen. In that hallway are several Howe soldiers and a powerful Howe knight. You'll want to retreat quickly to the main hall and take them down as they come to you.
10 of 10: After the hallway is clear, check the room at its north end for a sack to loot, then go to the kitchen and raid its barrel. When you're done, open the pantry door to start a series of cut-scenes that'll get you taken to Ostagar.
