Dragon Age: Origins Hints

Seek out Arl Eamon.

  • 1 of 10: Travel to Redcliffe Village, where you'll have a revealing conversation with Alistair if he's with you. (Note that this will enable you to do his "Alistair's Family" quest early.)
  • 2 of 10: Look around for a deathroot plant to harvest, then go east to a bridge to trigger a series of cut-scenes.
  • 3 of 10: After they're over, you'll need to do the "A Village Under Siege" and "The Attack at Nightfall" quests.
  • 4 of 10: After those are finished, it's okay to leave the village and go other places. Also, look around the village for a few new things.
  • 5 of 10: When you're ready to do the castle's quest tasks, run over to the mill and talk to Bann Teagan.
  • 6 of 10: Enter the windmill and use the "Highlight objects" key to find a secret passage, then use it to enter the castle's basement.
  • 7 of 10: You need to go through the basement's dungeon, then the main floor, and then the basement's cellar to reach the castle courtyard.
  • 8 of 10: In the courtyard, you'll have to fight a bunch of undead, including a powerful revenant.
  • 9 of 10: After the combat is over, look around for loot, including on the revenant and in two barrels. Also, return to the village using the courtyard's area transition point to do merchant business and finish up the "Lost in the Castle" quest.
  • 10 of 10: When you're ready to enter the castle, talk to Ser Perth and ask him to go into the hall with you.
