3 of 4: From where you found the mother's corpse, head east and a bit north to find three black bears. (Check the local area map for a marker if you need to.)
4 of 4: Do your best to draw the bears off one or two at a time, and make everyone in the party focus their attacks on one bear at a time until it's dead.
