1 of 5: A ways SE of the golem is a note on a table that you can read for a codex entry.
2 of 5: There's a basket of birdseed inside the golem's fence, but examining it doesn't get you anything.
3 of 5: There's a broken chest just north of the golem, and a locked chest just west of the cellar entrance.
4 of 5: On the south side of the golem's fence is a dead villager that you can get a key from.
5 of 5: It's the key to Olaf's chest, so go back to the first part of the village and loot the chest to get a valuable dagger called Olaf's Prized Cheese Knife (notice its two enchantment slots).
