Dragon Age: Origins Hints
How can I get my cell door open?
of 8: There are several ways, some of which are attribute- or skill-related.
of 8: If you're a rogue, you can pick the door's lock, after which you'll have to fight the guard.
of 8: For other options, right-click on the door to call the guard over, then use the second dialogue option.
of 8: You can then grab his head and slam it against the bars if your Strength attribute is high enough. After that, you can loot his body to get the cell key.
of 8: Instead of the head-slam, you can pickpocket him for the cell key, which you can then use to open the door. Doing so will turn the guard hostile, so prepare to fight him.
of 8: Another option is to pretend to be sick, though doing so successfully requires you to pass a persuasion check.
of 8: If none of that works for you, right-click on the rubble in your cell to find some splinters that you can give to Leske. That'll allow him escape his cell, kill the guard, and release you.
of 8: TIP: The most XP-worthy ways are the ones in which you fight the guard, so try one of those first.
