2 of 4: You're to collect 10 deep mushrooms and turn them in.
3 of 4: It doesn't matter where you find the deep mushrooms. You can buy them from shops if you want to.
4 of 4: Once you have 10 or more, go talk to any of the Mages' Collective Liaison guys to exchange 10 deep mushrooms for 1 gold coin.
