Sign of Safe Passage
1 of 8: This quest will be available on the bartender's job board after you finish "Solving Problems."
2 of 8: You'll have to start exploring the Brecilian forest areas in order to find the point from which you're to fire the "safe passage" signal arrow.
3 of 8: Do the Dalish Treaty Quest until you're in the West Brecilian Forest area.
4 of 8: While exploring that area's western section, look near the SE corner to find the firing point. (Check the area map if you need help finding it.)
5 of 8: Equip a bow (not a crossbow) on your main character, then right-click on the firing point's hotspot and choose to fire an arrow over the trees.
6 of 8: Doing so will cause several Denerim mercenaries to appear and attack you.
7 of 8: After you finish them off, search their bodies to find a folded missive.
8 of 8: Return to the bartender and tell him you've finished a favor in order to get 4 gold coins.
