Pearls Before Swine

  • 1 of 11: To get this quest, talk to Sergeant Kylon in the Market District and agree to help with the mercs in the Pearl.
  • 2 of 11: Use the city map to travel to the Pearl, then locate the White Falcon mercs in the main room.
  • 3 of 11: Talk to the White Falcon Veteran and tell him to vacate the premises.
  • 4 of 11: You can then try to persuade or intimidate him into taking his mercs away peacefully, or you can choose to attack.
  • 5 of 11: If you attack, focus everyone's attacks on any one of the mercs. They'll all surrender when he's nearly dead.
  • 6 of 11: After they surrender, you can insist on continuing the attack so you can kill them for XP and loot, or you can tell them to empty their pockets and leave in order to get 2 gold coins. (WARNING: Killing these mercs will make Sergeant Kylon mad and put an early halt to his two-quest series.)
  • 7 of 11: When you try to return to the Market District, you'll have an encounter where you meet up with Sergeant Kylon.
  • 8 of 11: If you killed the mercs in the Pearl, Kylon will chastise you for it, and you'll get no pay.
  • 9 of 11: If you let the mercs go, Cristof and a bunch of tough White Falcons will attack you. Thankfully, Kylon and his men will help in the battle.
  • 10 of 11: Kylon is unkillable, and will be a great distraction for Cristof and some of the other mercs. Concentrate your attacks on the mercs who aren't focusing on Kylon or his men.
  • 11 of 11: After it's over, loot Cristof for a special waraxe named Aodh, then wait near Kylon until he gives you 2 gold coins and leaves.
