Dragon Age: Origins Hints
The Mages Asunder
1 of 12: Switch to spirit form, then use the door on the south side of the room to enter a large room with a stone golem and two mages in it.
2 of 12: Use Crushing Prison on the golem right away, then turn into a golem yourself and pound the two mages with your Hurl, Quake, and Slam abilities.
3 of 12: Read the note and "School of Spirit" book pile for codex entries, then golem-smash the room's southern door.
4 of 12: Bash the mages that come after you, then go south until you come to a door on the right (west). Switch to burning man form and go through the door, then shoot a fireball at the two golems in the back of the room. Switch to spirit form and use Crushing Prison on one of them, then use golem form to finish them off.
5 of 12: Use the Essence of Willpower in their room and read the "School of Primal" book pile for a codex entry.
6 of 12: Leave the room in spirit form and go south to find a golem to hit with Crushing Prison. Finish it off, then look down the south passage near it to find a massive door.
7 of 12: Before you smash that door in golem form, head east to find more combat and another essence.
8 of 12: Switch to spirit form as soon as the door is smashed so you can use Crushing Prison on one of the arcane horrors in the room beyond, then duck out of the way so the second horror has to come to you.
9 of 12: Finish it off with Winter's Grasp, then use the spirit door in its room to find four more essences.
