Precious Metals

  • 1 of 10: Talk to Rogek in Dust Town to get this quest if you have enough money to buy the lyrium shipment. (Note that you might be able to persuade him to give it to you for 40 gold instead of 50.)
  • 2 of 10: NOTE: This entire quest is all stuck in under the one objective of "Deliver Rogek's lyrium to the Circle of Magi," so these hints won't have an objective list.
  • 3 of 10: Go do the Mage Treaty Quests until you find a closet with someone hiding in it on the Senior Mage Quarters level.
  • 4 of 10: Talk the guy out of the closet to find that it's Godwin.
  • 5 of 10: Say that you met a dwarf who mentioned him, then tell him you have Rogek's smuggled lyrium shipment.
  • 6 of 10: Try to persuade him to pay you 75 gold for it. If you succeed, you'll get 65 gold and a magic Crow Dagger. Otherwise, you'll have to settle for 50 or 60 gold.
  • 7 of 10: TIP: Ask Godwin why he needs all the lyrium, then pass a persuade check to get him to tell you. Say that he must make a lot of money off of that, then pass another persuade check to get 8 gold coins.
  • 8 of 10: NOTE: The game may glitch at this point and count the quest as having failed, but don't worry about it.
  • 9 of 10: Return to Dust Town when you can and tell Rogek that his package was delivered as promised.
  • 10 of 10: He'll offer you 10 gold as a reward, but you can get up to 25 gold if you're persuasive enough.
