Dragon Age: Origins Hints
How can I cross this chamber?
of 13: Look along the left and right sides of the hole.
of 13: You see those fancy carved stones? There's six on each side of the hole.
of 13: Try having a character run along those stones to see what happens.
of 13: Notice that ghostly bridge segments appear and disappear as you do so.
of 13: What if you had characters stand on certain stones to make bridge segments appear and stay solid?
of 13: Pick a character and have him go along the stones on one side of the hole until you find the one that makes a bridge segment appear next to your side of the hole.
of 13: That's not enough to make it solid, though. You'll need two stones pressed down for that.
of 13: So select another character and have him go along the stones on the other side of the hole until the first bridge segment is solid.
of 13: Then have a third character step onto that bridge segment.
of 13: Don't move your first two characters -- that would destabilize the first bridge segment, and the character that's on it will be teleported back off of it.
of 13: Instead, have your fourth character try stones on both sides of the hole until you find one that solidifies the second bridge segment.
of 13: Then you can move your bridge-walking character to the second segment, which frees up one of your other characters to move around. (Which one is freed up depends on which one is not standing on the stone that helps keep the current bridge segment solid.)
of 13: You could use trial and error, combined with frequent quicksaving and quickrestoring, to get across. Or you can see below for an exact step-by-step solution.
