Dragon Age: Origins Hints
How can I get to the east end of that bridge?
of 14: Start by going through the door at the south end of the area you're in.
of 14: Get your rogue to detect and disarm the trap that's just past the south door, then use the Lead-Them-Off Strategy on the darkspawn past the trap. (Note that there's another trap in the nearby hallway.)
of 14: Check around for four lootable sarcophagi (one of which contains the Gloves of the Legion), then enter the cave tunnel and look for a fractured stone next to a large fire.
of 14: Just past the next large fire, several darkspawn and their corrupted spider pets will charge to the attack. Retreat a bit to fight them, then move ahead to get four more corrupted spiders to drop down two at a time.
of 14: Just past the second spider pair is a powerful "ancient darkspawn" guy. Try not to let him see you until you finish off the spiders and heal up. (Be sure to loot him for the Topsider's Blade after you kill him.)
of 14: Past him, look for a fractured stone near a fire, then deal with the next darkspawn-and-traps corridor like you did the previous one.
of 14: There are a lot more darkspawn, including a powerful Genlock Forge Master, in the southern part of the huge cave room past the corridor. Station your party in the corridor and lure darkspawn in until they're all finished off, then look around for loot.
of 14: Go north and through a small room to reach a large bridge. Several shrieks will appear at both ends of the bridge and attack when you reach its approximate center.
of 14: Past the bridge, go through another small room (read its runestone for a codex entry) to reach a large room with a hurlock emissary and a bunch of devouring skeletons in it. As usual with this sort of thing, stay in the previous room and lure enemies to you.
of 14: Check the room's SW niche for a sarcophagus with the Armor of the Legion in it, then go through the east door and look for a fractured stone and two lootable sarcophagi.
of 14: Enter the cave tunnel and go along it until it splits.
of 14: Go north to find a small cave with two genlock emissaries and their corrupted spiders, plus two locked chests and a fractured stone. When you're done there, return to the path split and go east.
of 14: In the next corridor, raid the fleshy sack, then go through the door and check the room to the east for a fractured stone and a demented dwarf woman named Hespith.
of 14: Talk to Hespith, then go west to finally reach the area that's past the east end of the big broken-up bridge.
