Dragon Age: Origins Hints

Find and eliminate Jarvia.

  • 1 of 13: The first thing to do after talking to Bhelen is explore the Royal Palace's west wing. After that, look around for some more optionals.
  • 2 of 13: Next, do the "Entering Jarvia's Hideout" quest.
  • 3 of 13: After you thrash the doorman and his thugs, go through the next door and clear out all of the big N/S tunnel's side areas.
  • 4 of 13: Move along until you approach some barrels, then stop and get your rogue to detect and disarm the trap that's next to them.
  • 5 of 13: Just east of that is another set of barrels, but there's no trap -- just a couple of interactive barrels you can raid for items.
  • 6 of 13: At the path split past the next door, turn left and clear out the jail area before going the other way.
  • 7 of 13: The next room you come to will be all open and inviting. Enter it cautiously, since three carta assassins will ambush you there.
  • 8 of 13: Loot the room's three barrels, then move on to find two more barrels, followed by a qunari mercenary and another room of thugs.
  • 9 of 13: Raid the thug room's crate and three barrels, then open Jammer's common box and decide which letter opener to take. (This is another "Jammer's Stash" quest thing.)
  • 10 of 13: Clear out the next thug room (note that it includes an assassin and an elven mercenary), then loot its four barrels and decide which trinket to take from Pique's common box.
  • 11 of 13: Past the next door, explore the north and south side areas before going through the east door to find Jarvia.
  • 12 of 13: After a brief conversation, Jarvia and her thugs (and Leske if your main character is a dwarf commoner) will attack.
  • 13 of 13: The room's door will close and go non-interactive, so you're stuck there. Stay back near the door and concentrate on taking down the thugs that come after you first, then go after the rest.
