Unbound

  • 1 of 7: You'll get this quest after finding three specific adventurers.
  • 2 of 7: Travel to Denerim's dirty back alley and locate the "quaint hovel" near the SE corner.
  • 3 of 7: Right-click on its door and ask for Vilhm Madon.
  • 4 of 7: That doesn't get you anything, so say you want to discuss the stories of Gaxkang.
  • 5 of 7: That'll get the door unlocked, so go inside and talk to Madon.
  • 6 of 7: He'll turn into Gaxkang the Unbound and attack you. He's extremely powerful, so quickly hit him with your best spells and melee attacks.
  • 7 of 7: Search both Gaxkang and his chest to get lots of good loot, including a powerful dragonbone longsword called Keening Blade.
