Dragon Age II Hints

Where can I get sela petrae powder?

  • 1 of 11: Go to the SE corner of Darktown to find the entrance to a sewer area.
  • 2 of 11: Choose who to accompany you besides Anders, then start attacking the lyrium smugglers and dwarven mercenaries that are also doing a bit of sewer spelunking.
  • 3 of 11: Watch out for traps near the bottom of the southern set of stairs and in the upper-floor area past it. There's probably an archer or two up there that you'll have to go after.
  • 4 of 11: When the combat is over, examine the sela petrae deposit that's on the lower floor, then go up the northern stairs to find a lootable corpse.
  • 5 of 11: Make sure all the traps and enemies (and the lootable rubble) in the southern upstairs area are dealt with, then go down its south stairs to find an area with some apostate mages and a raider reaver.
  • 6 of 11: Kill them off, then loot the corpse and examine the codex-giving rubble before going up the stairs and examining the second sela petrae deposit.
  • 7 of 11: Go back to the big upstairs area and have your party hold position near the northern door before you open it. Lure smugglers and dwarves back to the party, then move them into the room and loot the corpse.
  • 8 of 11: Send one character into the next room to lure any remaining hostiles out of it, then move everyone into that room and examine its sela petrae deposit.
  • 9 of 11: Open the next door and send one character down to the bottom of the stairs. There's a big gas trap there which you can have your rogue trigger or disarm for XP. If you trigger it, the enemies who see you and run over will be hurt by it.
  • 10 of 11: After you lure in and kill off all of the hostiles, go down the stairs and examine the nearby sela petrae deposit, then go straight west to find the final one.
  • 11 of 11: Go south from the last deposit to find a locked chest, then go north from it to find a room with a pile of bones and an exit.
