Dragon Age II Hints
The Tal-Vashoth are attacking travelers on the Wounded Coast.
1 of 6: Go up the east path branch to encounter several hostile Tal-Vashoth. Note that they're particularly susceptible to cold and nature damage. (Also note that they'll be there even if you cleared the area out earlier.)
2 of 6: There's another group of Tal-Vashoth not far past the first one, plus a couple more guarding the entrance to the Tal-Vashoth Cavern.
3 of 6: Enter the cavern and loot the nearby rubble, then go to the SW corner to find what looks like a blocked doorway. However, you can activate the stone door to raise it.
4 of 6: Past the next stone door, several Tal-Vashoth will run to the attack. Keep everybody back to avoid getting surrounded, then go through the stone door at the south end of that area. (After going up the steps to the right of it to find a crate.)
5 of 6: Have everyone hold position just past that door so you can send one character down the stairs to try to lure in the Tal-Vashoth to the east a few at a time. There are quite a few of them, including a powerful Tal-Vashoth Officer.
6 of 6: Go through the stone door at the south end of the Tal-Vashoth's area, then through another one to enter the large area with the Tal-Vashoth Leader.
